The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university with its main campus in Abbotsford, with others in Chilliwack, Mission and Hope. It offers more than 100 program options in more than 30 fields, from accounting to graphic design. It admits about 15,000 students every year. At the same time, students are offered more than 75 study abroad options; in this way, students have the opportunity to study in a different country within the framework of the degree program. In addition to meeting new people and learning about their cultures, they can improve their resumes as global individuals and make a difference when they graduate.

UFV encourages its students to participate in extracurricular activities. There are over 60 clubs and communities to choose from, from sports teams to private area groups.
